Hometown: Everywhere, USA (I moved 14 times from birth to 18)

How did you learn about Montessori?: I got a job in college in an after school program at One World Montessori in the Bay Area. I subbed in the school day program and got my first taste.

Where did you take your training?: I did my training at the Montessori Institute of North Texas in Dallas.

Any other degrees, schooling, or training of note?: I have a Liberal Arts degree with an emphasis in education and theater, and have an AMS Montessori Credential.

What do you love about Montessori?: I love that it is so child driven!

3 things you can’t live without: My family, the sun, the beach

Most favorite trip you’ve taken OR dream vacation: I took an amazing trip to Abu Dhabi in the UAE. It was so different than any place I’d ever been before.

Favorite local treat: I love Rick’s Dessert Diner in Sacramento.
