Living the Mission: Chloe Bourne

We love hearing from our graduates!

We recently received this note from the parent of alumna Chloe Bourne, who is currenly at a neighborhood middle school with several other alumni- read the note, check out the poster, and be sure to vote for Chloe’s great cause!:

“Chloe entered a contest at school, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, to create an Anti Smoking billboard. Out of thousands of entries, she’s in the top ten Middle School finalists. The finalists were chosen by the contest folks but the winner from here forward is completely determined by votes. The winner gets $1000 and Chloe is going to donate the prize (if she wins) to the local animal shelters. We’ve been volunteering every Sunday this year, and have a family blog which Chloe writes for. She assists the photographer every week taking photos of the dogs and also makes videos of dogs. It’s been a great experience. Now she really wants to win the money for the dogs and I’m helping her by spreading the word.

I’ve attached a little flyer to post and also the screenshot of the shelter’s post just so you can see. You’ll see some familiar faces in the pic:)

Our blog is at RaiseYourPaw.blogspot.com if you’d like to check it out.

Thanks so much and hope all is well at Bergamo. The Bergamo kids are doing amazingly at Didion…” – Chandra Bourne

Our Mission:

Our mission is to prepare children for life. We celebrate each child’s individuality and help them discover how they can best contribute to our world and culture.

All children are naturally curious and love to learn; we support this innate drive by providing environments that meet children’s developmental needs, by creating a staff of loving and well-prepared adults and by building a community of families that actively support our mission.
