On this, the Vernal Equinox, Elementary students of all ages are exploring the relationship of the earth to the sun, finding and naming the tropics, and talking about our expectations for the season as the sun moves towards the Tropic of Cancer.

Will we be getting more direct rays of the sun? Why are the days and nights equal now and why will our days be getting longer? This spatial relationship, seen in a concrete way, explains all, and for today, all is in balance.
