How did you learn about Montessori? – In 2003 I learned about Montessori very briefly – it blew my mind that I didn’t know more about it! I was upset that our education system did not take in more of her teachings, and I decided be part of the solution by learning more. I feel fortunate to know that my three children have had the Montessori experience since preschool. I’ve worked for 6 years in a Montessori school at the Primary level, and have now finished my Assistance to Infancy Training.

Where did you take your training? – Montessori Institute of San Diego

Any other degrees, schooling, or training of note? – Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education

What do you love about Montessori? –  I love how Montessori cherishes the child’s individuality and innate curiosity – leading their own education, promoting independence, and helping children develop to their full potential.
