The guides, aides, staff, and facilities are awesome despite being pressured by a capital investment firm to cut staff and raise tuition. The schools resource staff are amazing and have immeasurably helped my children grow into intelligent and curious individuals. As mentioned, luckily the resource staff were hired back on after a first round of corporate cutting nonsense. Thanks Endeavor!

I love this school. I love this community. I love the guides who have poured so much into my children's lives. And I deeply value what I've invested here for nearly 15 years. It is heartbreaking to see more staff and administrative layoffs, along with the cleaners and landscapers who kept our campuses clean and well maintained day to day. It has been difficult to plan Sylvia's retirement celebration + gift because I was given such a small budget for her gathering. Celebrating someone who has given so much to this community shouldn't feel so strained. We're now seeing maintenance staff either quitting or not regularly visiting campuses, and it's affecting daily operations and the quality of our highly esteemed schools. The large playground is a mud pit and the infant yard is dangerous. These spaces are difficult to showcase during tours. When our facilities don't reflect the care happening inside the classroom, it sabotages the incredible Montessori work being done every day. I am concerned that I hear that staff members do not feel emotionally safe coming into work. I don't feel emotionally safe coming into work. That should deeply trouble all of us. A healthy school community depends on people feeling supported and respected, and that care naturally filters out to the parent community. It feels unfair to see Terrie treated as "guilty by association" by our families when she has worked tirelessly to secure what parents and students need. She is often "stuck" without the clear direction and/or funding from Endeavor to truly make progress possible. Right now, our schools look and feel poorly managed and the perception that it's due to administrative staff is hurting morale and trust. I imagine the recent staffing reductions have resulted in significant cost savings for Endeavor, and I am concerned that proceeds aren't directly supporting our own campuses. I share this out of deep care, not out of anger. As a parent and staff member, I want transparency, solutions, stability, funding and thoughtful leadership from Endeavor that truly supports our Bergamo, Montessori Country Day and Serrano staff and families who make our schools exemplary.
