Tickets for our fundraiser benefiting Paradise schools will be on sale this week. The two Upper Elementary student leaders of this project/event will be selling tickets (10$ per person) in front of the main building and then on the back deck in the afternoons. You are welcome to invite family members and friends. The times are as follows:
Monday and Tuesday, February 4th and 5th
8:00-8:30AM in front of the main building
3:15-3:30PM in front of the main building
3:30-4:00PM on the back patio
Please plan to join us! We are limiting the attendance to 60 people and tickets are first come, first served. If you cannot make it to the above times, starting Wednesday, if we have any more tickets, you are welcome to stop by the San Gabriel community during the school day to make your purchase.
Once you purchase your tickets, the students will give you an assignment for the potluck aspect of this.
The dinner is on Tuesday, February 19th at 6:30PM. There will also be art on sale that will benefit the Paradise schools.
I am looking forward to spending the evening with you, supporting our students’ efforts in this undertaking, and showing that we can love people (in Paradise) even when we don’t know them.
We have heard back from the Paradise schools and they really need school supplies and art materials. How exciting is that? With the money our students are raising we’ll get to buy the very things we most enjoy about school!
Paradise also indicated that many teachers would be so happy to be able to choose books for their classroom using our profit from our Scholastic Book Fair.
It is so exciting to be able to make such a direct difference.
If our ticket sale times don’t work for you, feel free to stop by San Gabriel and our students will help you buy tickets and sign up for the potluck.
Remember to bring in your wallets tomorrow to help these girls out! Bring enough for your aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas! Cousins are welcome too!
